Calling all chefs, cooks, caterers, and farmers on St. Croix! This year’s theme:  “Food, Farm, Philanthropy” aims to increase awareness of the culinary delights found throughout the Caribbean by inviting renowned chefs and emphasizing local farmers.

Participating Guest Chefs for 2011

Participating guest chefs for the 2011 St. Croix Food & Wine Experience include Anita Lo (New York), Tim Love (Texas), Ana Sortun (Boston), Kevin Rathbun (Atlanta), Roberto Treviño (Puerto Rico) and a select few more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Guest chefs judge the culinary competition, hold cooking demonstrations, compete in a fun event against local chefs and prepare intimate dinners at spectacular homes.

Dannielle Kyrillos, Editor-at-Large of DailyCandy.com and judge on Bravo TV’s Top Chef Just Desserts, will be a guest judge for the culinary competition and hold a cooking class for kids.

Past guest chefs have included Rocco DiSpirito, Antonia Lofaso, Kevin Rathbun, Robbin Haas, Gerry Klaskala, Wayne Nish, Richard Reddington and Johnny Vinczencz. Past participating vintners have included Bo Barrett of Chateau Montelena, Chris Benziger of Benziger Wineries, Bill Blais of Kendall Jackson Estates, Bob Foley from Foley Wines, Paul Hoffman of Medusa Wines, Julianna Martinelli of Martinelli Vineyards, Joel Peterson from Ravenswood, Maria Ponzi of Ponzi Vineyards, Carroll Kemp of Red Car Wines, and Kent Rosenblum from Rosenblum Cellars.
